Breve contextualização da educação rural no Brasil e os contrastes com a educação do campo

This work is the result of the Masters Dissertation in the PPGEA - Graduate Program in Agricultural Education, UFRRJ - Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro. Its main objective is to understand the context of the emergence and supply of rural education in Brazil and its main contrasts with the education of the countryside, in a close articulation with the peasant social movements. We perform a brief contextualization, based on a bibliographical review, articles, dissertations and dissertations on virtual platforms, seeking to understand the emergence and social insertion of these models of education, in a historical, political and social perspective, characterizing the subjects, individual and collective, attended. We understand how dominant political forces have imposed their ideological models of education on peasants and how the school acted to reproduce this ideology of education. Finally, we reflect on the main contrasts between rural education and rural education, realizing the main implications in the lives of the individuals present in the peasant communities.
