Perception of elementary school students regarding an episode of hailstorm

Resumo: This work presents an experience of a school activity developed with students of elementary school II, in two classes of the sixth grade, of Gustavo Dobrandino da Silva State School, in the year of 2018. The students were between 10 and 14 years old. The objective was to analyze the students' perceptions regarding the extreme event of 07/09/2015, when an intense hailstorm occurred, causing great material destruction in the tri-border Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. In this study, all the students participating in the activity were Brazilian and resident in the south of Foz do Iguaçu, state of Paraná. The applied questionnaire had ten multiple choice questions. As a result, it can be verified that even after three years, the event still lives in the collective and individual memory of all students, due to the intensity of the phenomenon and its destruction.

Los estudiantes tenían edades entre 10 y 14 años. El objetivo fue analizar las percepciones de los estudiantes sobre el evento extremo del 07/09/2015, cuando ocurrió una intensa tormenta de granizo, que causó una gran destrucción material en la triple frontera Brasil, Argentina y Paraguay. En este estudio, todos los estudiantes que participaron en la actividad eran brasileños y residentes en el sur de Foz do Iguaçu, estado de Paraná. El cuestionario aplicado tenía diez preguntas de opción múltiple. Como resultado, se puede verificar que incluso después de tres años, el evento aún vive en la memoria colectiva e individual de todos los estudiantes, dada la intensidad del fenómeno y su destrucción.Este trabalho traz uma experiência de uma atividade escolar desenvolvida com estudantes do ensino fundamental II, em duas turmas de sexto ano, do colégio estadual Gustavo Dobrandino da Silva, no ano de 2018. Os/as estudantes apresentavam faixa etária entre 10 e 14 anos. O objetivo foi analisar a percepção dos(as) alunos(as) em relação ao evento extremo de 07/09/2015, data a qual ocorreu uma intensa chuva de granizo, causadora de grande destruição material na tríplice fronteira Brasil, Argentina e Paraguai. Neste estudo, todos(as) estudantes participantes da atividade eram brasileiros e residentes no sul de Foz do Iguaçu, estado do Paraná. O questionário aplicado possuia dez questões de múltipla escolha.
