Theaching operation reseach in over crowded classes with NTIC aid

Resumo: | Over crowded classes generate great difficulties to follow the learning process of each student and the access to significant knowledge. The concern to find other ways to solve this problem in addition to technological facilities in the college we work made us question the way Operation Research was being taught (Course of the 3rd year syllabus of Public Accountant and Bachelor in Administration careers) and to rethink practical aspects incorporating NTIC and lab computing classes where specific software has been taught since 2000.To asses the results of this new educational process surveys were carried out at the end of each academic year. This work aimed at describing our experience, introducing the results obtained in 2005 academic year in comparison to those reported at the time of NTIC implementation analyzing the data provided by the surveys. |

La preocupación por buscar caminos que nos permitan resolver este problema, sumada a la disponibilidad tecnológica en la unidad académica en la que se trabaja, indujo a cuestionar los modos habituales de enseñanza de Investigación Operativa (materia del tercer año de la currícula de las carreras de Contador Público y Licenciatura en Administración) y a replantear la práctica educativa incorporando NTIC y clases en gabinete de computación en las que se enseña el manejo de software específico a partir del ciclo lectivo 2000.Para evaluar los resultados de la nueva propuesta educativa se administraron encuestas a los alumnos al final de cada ciclo. En el presente trabajo describimos nuestra experiencia, presentado los resultados obtenidos en el ciclo lectivo 2005, comparándolos con los obtenidos al momento de implementación de las NTIC realizando diferentes análisis sobre la información provista por las encuestas.Las cátedras masivas provocan grandes dificultades para el seguimiento del proceso deaprendizaje de cada alumno y la promoción del acceso a conocimientos de significado.
