BRAZILIAN FOOD INDUSTRY, RECENT EMPLOYMENT AND PRODUCTION DYNAMICS AND ITS TERRITORIAL IMPACTS IN TIMES OF PANDEMIC

Resumo: The pandemic has imposed many transformations in the 21st century. It can also be seen as a socio-territorial problem as it affects each part of the territory in a different way, that is, in a different way the economic reality of the places. Industries have an important role in this context. The food industry stands out for being responsible for a large part of industrial jobs, in addition to being a little concentrated industry, which occupies an important part of the Brazilian territory. This article seeks to analyze important aspects of the food industry, such as employment and production during the pandemic. Impacts on the territory and society are also analyzed using recent quantitative and qualitative data from official sources, associations and industries. También puede ser un problema socio-territorial ya que afecta de manera diferente a cada parte del territorio, es decir, la pandemia afecta de diferente manera la realidad económica de los lugares. Las industrias tienen un papel importante en este contexto. La industria de alimentos ha sido responsable por una gran parte de los empleos industriales, además de ser una industria poco concentrada, que ocupa una parte importante del territorio brasileño. Este artículo analiza aspectos importantes de la industria alimentaria, como el empleo y la producción durante la pandemia. Los impactos sobre el territorio y la sociedad también se analizan utilizando datos cuantitativos y cualitativos recientes de fuentes oficiales, asociaciones e industrias.A pandemia impôs muitas transformações no século XXI. Ela também pode ser vista como um problema socioterritorial por afetar de forma diferente cada parte do território, isto é, de forma distinta a realidade econômica dos lugares. As indústrias têm uma função importante nesse contexto. A indústria alimentícia se destaca por ser responsável por grande parte dos empregos industriais, além de ser uma indústria pouco concentrada, que ocupa parte importante do território brasileiro. Este artigo busca analisar aspectos importantes da indústria alimentícia, como emprego e produção durante a pandemia. Os impactos sobre o território e a sociedade também são analisados utilizando dados quantitativos e qualitativos recentes de fontes oficiais, associações e indústrias.
