Digital educational technology for professional nursing education at the high-school level

Resumo: | The current study identifies what has been produced in literature regarding the use of digital educational technology for professional nursing education at the high-school level. An integrative literature review was carried out using the descriptors “Computer Assisted Instruction,” “Software,” “Educational Technology,” “Professional Education” and “Nursing,” published between 2000 and 2013. We found 99 publications, out of which 08 were analyzed. We observed that technological development has also been incorporated into nursing education, predominantly in contents regarding technical care and the use of simulations. However these were examined out of the context of their application. We also observed a gap in research about reflective education, despite the fact that a large contingent of nursing professionals is made up of assistants/technicians. The development of digital educational technology is considered a contributing factor towards professional nursing education at the high-school level, according to pedagogical principles of Brazilian curriculum guidelines and health policies.doi: 10.5216/ree.v16i2.21587. |

Se realizó revisión integrativa sistemática de literatura, con los descriptores: “Computer Assisted Instruction”, Software, Tecnología Educativa, “Educación Profesionalizante” y “Enfermería”, publicados entre 2000 y 2013. Se obtuvieron 99 publicaciones, 8 fueron analizadas. Se determinó que el desarrollo tecnológico también se incorporó a la enseñanza de enfermería, con predominio de contenidos técnicos de cuidado y uso de simulaciones, aunque descontextualizados de su aplicabilidad en el aprendizaje. Se percibió un vacío investigativo en la temática, no abordándose la enseñanza reflexiva, a pesar del amplio contingente de trabajadores de enfermería que conforman los auxiliares/técnicos. Se considera que el desarrollo de tecnologías educativas digitales puede contribuir a la formación de profesionales de nivel medio en enfermería pautado en los principios pedagógicos de las directivas programáticas nacionales y las políticas de salud.doi: 10.5216/ree.v16i2.21587.Este estudo identificou o que se tem produzido sobre o uso de tecnologias educacionais digitais para educação profissional de nível médio em enfermagem. Localizaram-se 99 publicações, das quais oito foram analisadas. Denotou-se que o desenvolvimento tecnológico também foi incorporado no ensino de enfermagem com predominância de conteúdos técnicos do cuidado e uso de simulações, porém descontextualizados de sua aplicação na aprendizagem. Percebeu-se lacuna de pesquisas nessa temática que abordem o ensino reflexivo, apesar do amplo contingente de trabalhadores de enfermagem ser formado por auxiliares/técnicos.
