FIVE PAULO FREIRIANA´S LESSONS FOR THINKING ABOUT EDUCATION AND THE YOUTH SITUATION IN THE PANDEMIC

Resumo: The covid-19 pandemic has had a multitude of forms of impact at the educational environment. Considering that the majority of the public schools´ population is comprised of young students, we sought to identify how the covid-19 pandemic impacted differently on them. The research methodology focused upon a gathering of bibliographic data, carried out through a systematic review of the literature in the bases of brazilian journals evaluated by Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). The investigation produced in the light of Freire's theory allows us to strengthen the need for a closer look at this reality, as well as for demanding mitigating public policies that would reduce the future impacts of the current context. En este sentido, a sabiendas que la mayoría del público de escuelas públicas son estudiantes jóvenes, buscamos identificar como se expresaron los impactos de la pandemia de covid-19 en ellos. El recorrido metodologico se realizó a través de una investigación bibliográfica realizadas partir de la revisión sistemática de la literatura, en bases de datos de revistas brasileñas evaluadas por la "Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES)". La reflexión producida, a la luz del pensamiento freiriano, posibilita reafirmar la necesidad de mantener una mirada atenta sobre la realidad, así como exigir que se puedan construir políticas públicas con el objetivo de atenuar los impactos futuros del actual contexto. Neste sentido, entendendo que boa parte do público de escolas públicas compreende estudantes jovens, buscamos identificar quais foram os impactos da pandemia da covid-19 sobre eles. O percurso metodológico compreendeu uma pesquisa bibliográfica, realizada por meio da revisão sistemática da literatura, nas bases de revistas brasileiras avaliadas pela Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). A reflexão produzida, à luz do pensamento freiriano, possibilita-nos reforçar a necessidade de manter um olhar atento sobre esta realidade, assim como exigir que políticas públicas possam ser instituídas de modo a atenuar os impactos futuros do atual contexto na vida desses jovens.
