CLOSING SCHOOLS AIMED AT COUNTRYSIDE IN THE AMAZON CONTEXT: THE RIGHT TO EDUCATION SUBVERTED TO HEGEMONIC INTERESTS IN RONDÔNIA

Resumo: The research has a qualitative approach, aimed to analyze factors that caused a significant number of school closures located in rural areas in the Amazon region, North of Brazil, state of Rondônia, in the period from 2000 to 2020. Does schools for rural children and youth in the state of Rondônia, from the beginning of the 21st century, correspond to the realization of agribusiness purposes? Among the sources used were bibliographic materials, media news and documents – Statistical Synopsis of Basic Education, Agricultural Censuses, data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and laws. The closing of schools in rural areas is an event marked by different interests, either by the absence of public educational policies for the peasants, or by the joining of schools in nucleation projects.  KEYWORDS: Rural Schools. School Closings.La investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo, con el objetivo de analizar los factores que causaron un número significativo de cierres de escuelas ubicadas en áreas rurales de la región amazónica, norte de Brasil, estado de Rondônia, en el período de 2000 a 2020. ¿Escuelas para niños y niñas rurales? jóvenes en el estado de Rondônia, desde el inicio del siglo XXI, corresponden a la realización de fines agroindustriales? Entre las fuentes, se utilizaron materiales bibliográficos, noticias de prensa y documentos – Sinopsis Estadística de la Educación Básica, Censos Agropecuarios, datos del Instituto Brasileño de Geografía y leyes. El cierre de escuelas en zonas rurales es un evento marcado por diferentes intereses, ya sea por la ausencia de políticas públicas educativas para los campesinos, o por la incorporación de las escuelas en proyectos de nucleación.  PALABRAS CLAVE: Escuelas Rurales. Educación Campesina. Cierre de Escuelas.Esta pesquisa é de abordagem qualitativa e objetivou analisar fatores que ocasionaram o significativo número de fechamento de escolas localizadas em áreas rurais na região amazônica do estado de Rondônia, Norte de Brasil, no período de 2000 a 2020. Indaga-se o processo de fechamento de escolas destinadas a crianças e jovens campesinos no estado de Rondônia, a partir do início do século 21, corresponde à efetivação dos propósitos do agronegócio? Entre as fontes utilizou-se materiais bibliográficos, noticiários de mídias e documentos – Sinopse Estatística da Educação Básica, Censos Agropecuários, dados do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística e leis. O fechamento de escolas em áreas rurais é um acontecimento assinalado por interesses diversos, seja pela ausência de políticas públicas educacionais para os camponeses, seja pela junção de escolas em projetos de nucleação.  PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Escolas Rurais.
