Resumo: | Throughout this article, a problem-based methodology is presented, through which the concept, development and testing of two technological tools (the virtual learning environment AMEM – Multimedia Environment for Computer-Mediated Education and the learning object LOBO – Learning Object Based on Optimization) seeks to discuss the heuristic and metaheuristic algorithms of a common problem in an innovative way. It does so through the practice of dialogue while urging students to find answers to the problems presented to them. This article, designed as a proposal to boost the teaching of heuristics and metaheuristics in higher education, presents the methodology which was used and the technological tools developed. The use of tools which create space for dialogue and questioning, such as AMEM and LOBO, could help remove the stigma students have of being just listeners in the classroom. |

The use of tools which create space for dialogue and questioning, such as AMEM and LOBO, could help remove the stigma students have of being just listeners in the classroom.
