BLACK MOVEMENT IN BRAZIL AFTER THE 1970'S: POLITICAL ACTION AND ANTI-RACIST EDUCATION

Resumo: | This study aims to analyze how the Brazilian Black Movement (MN), after the 1970s, contributed to the struggle to guarantee the right to education of the Brazilian black population. We carried out bibliographic research, using a literature review from the authors: Domingues (2007, 2008), Gomes (2012), Gonçalves and Silva (2000), Passos and Nogueira (2014), Pereira (2010), Alberto (2017), among others. The results indicate that, since its reorganization in 1978, the MN has acted incisively so that the right to education of the black population is guaranteed, resulting in important achievements, both in terms of access and permanence in educational institutions those with higher education. The reflux of policies to repair and promote racial equality has been a great challenge to be overcome by the MN, requiring solid strategies of resistance. KEYWORDS: Black Movement. Racism. Education.Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar cómo el Movimiento Negro Brasileño (MN), después de la década de 1970, contribuyó a la lucha por garantizar el derecho a la educación de la población negra brasileña. Para ello, realizamos una investigación bibliográfica, utilizando una revisión bibliográfica de los autores: Domingues (2007, 2008), Gomes (2012), Gonçalves y Silva (2000), Passos y Nogueira (2014), Pereira (2010), Alberto (2017), entre otros. Los resultados indican que, desde su reorganización en 1978, el MN ha actuado de manera incisiva para que se garantice el derecho a la educación de la población negra, traduciéndose en importantes logros, tanto en términos de acceso como de permanencia en las instituciones educativas, en particular aquellas con educación superior. El reflujo de políticas de reparación y promoción de la igualdad racial ha sido un gran desafío a ser superado por el MN, requiriendo sólidas estrategias de resistencia. Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar como o Movimento Negro (MN) brasileiro, pós década de 1970, contribuiu na luta pela garantia do direito à educação da população negra brasileira. Para isso, realizamos uma pesquisa bibliográfica, com o emprego de revisão de literatura com base nos autores: Domingues (2007; 2008), Gomes (2012), Gonçalves e Silva (2000), Passos e Nogueira (2014), Pereira (2010), Alberto (2017), entre outros. Os resultados apontam que, desde sua reorganização em 1978, o MN atuou incisivamente para que o direito à educação da população negra fosse garantido, resultando em importantes conquistas, tanto no acesso como na permanência em instituições de ensino, em particular, naquelas de nível superior. Na atualidade, o refluxo das políticas de reparação e promoção da igualdade racial tem sido um grande desafio a ser superado pelo MN, requerendo sólidas estratégias de resistência.
