Resumo: | This article presents the results of an ongoing research into virtual teaching platforms in Brazil. Managed by foreign and national business groups, our hypothesis is that the economic agents behind this service make use of the Brazilian territory, based on their corporate intentions. Thus, the aim of the research is to identify and understand the territorial strategies practiced by hegemonic companies/platforms in this field, which may be interpreted through the composition of the technosphere and psychosphere that these companies/platforms depend on. In this investigation, the sociotechnical disposition (algorithm, reputation model, monetization, marketing, etc.), the topology of these companies (business headquarters, user location, office distribution, investors, etc.) and their dependence on fixed points, demonstrate how territorial factors are inalienable in the action of these agents. Keywords: Digital platforms. Platformization of the territory. Teaching uberization. |
