Gastronomy as a cultural attraction in Campo Grande - MS: a case study of Avenida Bom Pastor

Resumo: Gastronomy is recognized as an important factor to be considered in tourist activity, since, as a vital condition, food is necessary during the development of tourist practices of travelers. However, in addition to this need, gastronomy can also be consolidated as a tourist attraction indeed. In this context, the present research has as its principle to investigate the tourist potential of Avenida Bom Pastor, in Campo Grande-MS. Through theoretical discussion, construction of supply inventory and application of questionnaires with the entrepreneurs of the avenue, it was possible to identify that the avenue fits as a potential tourist attraction in Campo Grande-MS. However, it is observed that, despite the positive aspects and convenience offered by the variety of enterprises on the avenue, some aspects such as safety,  Dissemination and parking should be improved for a more satisfying experience of visiting tourists.

Sin embargo, además de esta necesidad, la gastronomía también puede consolidarse como un atractivo turístico. En este contexto, la presente investigación tiene como princípio investigar el potencial turístico de la Avenida Bom Pastor, en Campo Grande-MS. A través de la discusión teórica, la construcción de inventario de oferta y la aplicación de cuestionarios con los empresarios de la avenida, fue posible identificar que la avenida encaja como un atractivo turístico potencial en Campo Grande-MS. Sin embargo, se observa que, a pesar de los aspectos positivos y la conveniencia que ofrece la variedad de empresas en la avenida, algunos aspectos como la seguridad,  La difusión y el estacionamiento deben mejorarse para una experiencia más satisfactoria de los turistas visitantes.A gastronomia é reconhecidamente um importante fator a ser considerado na atividade turística, uma vez que, enquanto condição vital, a alimentação é necessária durante o desenvolvimento das práticas turísticas dos viajantes. Porém, além desta necessidade, a gastronomia também pode se consolidar como um atrativo turístico de fato. Neste contexto, a presente pesquisa tem como princípio investigar o potencial turístico da Avenida Bom Pastor, em Campo Grande-MS. Por meio de discussão teórica, construção de inventário de oferta e aplicação de questionários com os empreendedores da avenida, foi possível identificar que a avenida se enquadra como um potencial atrativo turístico em Campo Grande-MS.
