Contagem: minha experiência matemática na educação infantil

This report has as its theme a mathematical work developed in early childhood education, where based on the purpose of leading students in the process of literacy and mathematical literacy, activities were developed that valued the incentive to the knowledge of numbers. The lived experience took place in a child education class I, with children from 4 to 5 years old. My main theme was Contagem: knowing the first numbers, and for the development of activities, we listed as a general objective: To show the importance of mathematics in our daily lives. Seven meetings were held, totaling 35 hours of immersion in the school environment. I had as a justification for the development of activities, the importance of mathematical knowledge for the full expansion of capacities and logical reasoning skills, extended by children through their curiosity. Based on the tasks, it was possible to notice that children bring their knowledge and experiences of family dynamics to the classroom, enabling an analysis of how to start with the planning of classes, and in this using information from their daily lives to provide more meaningful and consistent knowledge. with their realities. Regarding the actions, I could see how much the children were involved with the activities and participated in a collaborative way.
