Linguistic and educacional mediators in the teaching of deaf people in higher education

Resumo: The inclusion of deaf people in higher education goes through recognizing the role of professionals involved in the students' accessibility process. Therefore, this paper presents the roles of the teacher, the Libras Interpreter Translator, the monitor and the inclusive monitor in teaching activities promoted by the university. This study, which was based on legal documents and scientific literature, aimed to discover the role of each educator mentioned before, and the data obtained were analyzed from a qualitative approach. Regarding the results, we identified that the teacher is responsible for planning, applying and evaluating the proposed activities; the Libras Interpreter Translator is responsible for the linguistic mediation between users and non-users of Libras; the monitor's role is to accompany the teacher in teaching activities with the class; and the inclusive monitor's is to observe and propose adaptations that provide the participation of the deaf student in those activities.

Delante de eso, este texto presenta los roles del profesor, del Traductor Intérprete de Libras, del monitor y del monitor inclusivo en las actividades de enseñanza promovidas por la universidad. El estudio, pautado en documentos legales y en la literatura científica, se buscó revelar la función de cada educador mencionado. Los datos oriundos de esa investigación fueron analizados en un abordaje cualitativa. Como resultados, identificamos que al profesor cabe planear, ejecutar y evaluar las actividades propuestas; al Traductor Intérprete de Libras, comprende la mediación lingüística entre usuarios y no usuarios de Libras; al monitor le es incumbido el papel de acompañar al profesor en las actividades de enseñanza con actuación en la clase y al monitor inclusivo observar y proponer adaptaciones que faciliten la participación del estudiante sordo en las actividades de enseñanza.A inclusão do surdo no ensino superior perpassa o reconhecimento do papel dos profissionais envolvidos no processo de acessibilidade do estudante. Diante disso, esse texto apresenta os papeis do professor, do Tradutor Intérprete de Libras, do monitor e do monitor inclusivo nas atividades de ensino promovidas pela universidade. O estudo, pautado em documentos legais e na literatura científica, buscou desvelar a função de cada educador citado e os dados oriundos dessa investigação foram analisados em uma abordagem qualitativa.
