Resumo: | This paper analyzes initiatives of the evaluation of early childhood education in two municipalities of São Paulo state, highlighting their potentials and limits to contribute with guaranteeing the right to education children, in the light of the legal framework and academic production that deals with quality for this stage. The initiatives are close to indications of these references, but in part they reproduce aspects of evaluations and pedagogical practices aimed at other educational stages, which implies the finalities of early childhood education. |
