Mathematics curriculum of Middle School in the light of BNCC: reflections over competences and abilities to be developed by the students

Resumo: | The present paper was organized from the analysis of ‘Base Nacional Comum Curricular – BNCC’, aiming to make a reflection over competences and abilities to be developed by Middle School students along their course, according to the main document that defines essential learning to be granted to all students and guides the elaboration of curricula and pedagogical propositions in Elementary Education. Thus, it is a bibliographical research, of qualitative nature, and the object of analysis consists of document framework, including federal official documents. The text concludes that, besides the organization of abilities by competences, they can also be organized in the elaboration of curricula by thematic units, as long as they guarantee the students the development of competences and abilities related to their processes of reflection and abstraction that support creative, analytical, inductive, deductive and systemic ways of thinking, which may favor decision making guided by ethics and the common good. |

Se trata, por tanto, de una investigación bibliográfica, de carácter cualitativo, cuyo objeto de análisis fue el marco documental que incluye, entre otros, los documentos oficiales federales. El texto concluye que, además de la organización de competencias, también pueden organizarse en la elaboración de currículos por unidades temáticas, siempre que se garantice al alumno el desarrollo de habilidades y habilidades relacionadas con sus procesos de reflexión y abstracción, que apoyen formas creativas, analíticas, inductivas, deductivas y sistémicas de pensamiento y que favorezcan la toma de decisiones guiadas por la ética y el bien común.O presente artigo foi organizado, a partir da análise da Base Nacional Comum Curricular - BNCC, com o objetivo de fazer uma reflexão acerca das competências e habilidades a serem desenvolvidas pelos alunos do Ensino Médio no decorrer do curso, de acordo com o documento que define as aprendizagens essenciais a serem garantidas a todos os estudantes, e orienta a elaboração de currículos e propostas pedagógicas na Educação Básica. Trata-se, portanto, de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, de natureza qualitativa, cujo objeto de análise foi o arcabouço documental que inclui, dentre outros, os documentos oficiais federais.
