Resumo: The use of Learning Management System (LMS) is growing gradually, mainly in Moodle learning virtual environment. It also expanded the participation of the user, specifically with regard how to express and offer their opinions, and help with computer systems. This study focuses on the area of Human-Computer Interface, specifically Usability and Design for Web interfaces. A study was conducted on the Moodle environment, considering the analysis of its interface, for further improvements proposed to be applied, based on the Moodle tool used in graduate courses at the Federal University of Lavras. The studies, analysis and proposals were based on heuristics of Nielsen and gold rules from Schneiderman, where you can identify problems and recommend usability of an interface more user-friendly, the main goals of this monograph.

Ampliou-se também a participação do usuário, especificamente no que diz respeito a fatos como expressar e oferecer suas opiniões, e contribuir com os sistemas computacionais. Este trabalho tem como foco a área de Interface Homem-Computador, especificamente usabilidade e design para interfaces web. Realizou-se um estudo sobre o ambiente Moodle, considerando a análise de sua interface, para posterior proposta de melhorias a serem aplicadas, tendo como base a ferramenta Moodle utilizada nos cursos de graduação da Universidade Federal de Lavras.
