IMPRESSIONS OF STUDENTS AND TEACHERS ON A TEACHING PROPOSAL BASED ON PROJECT-BASED LEARNING (PBL)

Resumo: The present work aimed to investigate the impressions of students and teachers about the “Connecting Knowledge” Program, whose dynamics is based on the methodology “Project-Based Learning (PBL)”. Therefore, we sought to answer the following research question: what are the strengths and limits of the “Connecting Knowledge” Program for the training of students in a technical course in Chemistry? The research is qualitative and data were obtained through semi-structured interviews. Four graduates of the Technical Course in Chemistry at the Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina (Campus Jaraguá do Sul) and two professors from the same institution participated in this study. As an analysis procedure, Discursive Textual Analysis was used. The main results point to important contributions of the project to the formation of students, among them: ability to work in groups, research skills and development of autonomy. Limitations were also evidenced, among them the time to develop the proposed actions, considered insufficient for some of the participants.

Limitations were also evidenced, among them the time to develop the proposed actions, considered insufficient for some of the participants. O presente trabalho teve como propósito investigar as impressões de estudantes e professores acerca do Programa Conectando Saberes, cuja dinâmica se baseia na metodologia “Aprendizagem Baseada em Projetos (ABP)”. Para tanto, buscamos responder a seguinte questão de pesquisa: quais as potencialidades e limites do Programa Conectando Saberes para a formação de estudantes de um curso técnico de Química? A pesquisa é qualitativa e os dados foram obtidos por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Participaram do estudo quatro egressos do Curso Técnico em Química do Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina (Campus Jaraguá do Sul) e dois professores da mesma instituição. Como procedimento de análise foi empregada a Análise Textual Discursiva.
