“Experience dance”: an artistic pedagogical practice

Resumo: The article presents a summary of the master's dissertation Dance Experience: behind the scenes of an artistic-pedagogical practice developed at the Unicamp Institute of Arts, guided by Profa. Dr. Ana Maria Rodriguez Costas. An artistic-pedagogical practice elaborated by the author was examined based on her trajectory as an artist and dance teacher, supported by a contemporary dance perspective in line with the thinking of Louppe (2012) and assumptions of the collective Judson Dance (BANES, 1994; 1999; 2003, CAVRELL, 2012). The qualitative research of exploratory character started from the autoetnographic approach combined with the investigation of the practice itself with the objective of showing the articulations between conceptions and dance practices as well as the power of the dance act itself as a generator and producer of knowledge.

Se examinó una práctica artístico-pedagógica elaborada por la autora en función de su trayectoria como artista y profesora de danza, respaldada por una perspectiva de danza contemporánea en línea con el pensamiento de Louppe (2012) y los supuestos del colectivo Judson Dance (BANES, 1994; 1999; 2003, CAVRELL, 2012). La investigación cualitativa de carácter exploratorio comenzó con el enfoque autoetnográfico combinado con la investigación de la práctica en sí misma con el objetivo de mostrar las articulaciones entre las concepciones y las prácticas de danza, así como el poder del acto de danza en sí mismo como generador y productor de conocimiento.O artigo apresenta um resumo da dissertação de mestrado Experiência Dança: nos bastidores de uma prática artístico-pedagógica, desenvolvida no Instituto de Artes da Unicamp, orientada pela Profa. Dra. Ana Maria Rodriguez Costas. Examinou-se uma prática artístico-pedagógica elaborada pela autora com base em sua trajetória como artista e professora de dança, apoiada em uma perspectiva de dança contemporânea consonante com o pensamento de Louppe (2012) e pressupostos do coletivo Judson Dance (BANES, 1994; 1999; 2003, CAVRELL, 2012).
