LEISURE IN THE CONTEXT OF INITIAL FORMATION IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Resumo: The aim of this study is to understand how a Physical Education Degree course has approached leisure in teacher education. The theoretical framework that underlies this investigation is based on authors such as Marcellino (2007), Gomes (1998, 2004), Isayama (2002, 2010), among others. The research is field-oriented and guided by a qualitative approach, with subjects by professors who work in that course. As a data collection instrument, semi-structured interviews and data were analyzed using the content analysis method, proposed by Bardin (2011). The results show that the perception of leisure in the curriculum by the teachers is that there are specific disciplines that deal with the subject, therefore, leisure is contemplated, however, there is not yet a proper valuation of this knowledge. And although there is difficulty in establishing the relationship between leisure and education, which makes it difficult to apply it within the school. It is concluded that the formative discussion of leisure should not be restricted to specific disciplines in this area, but it must permeate the other knowledge that make up the curriculum, enabling solid training and teaching performance.

El marco teórico que subyace a esta investigación se basa en autores como Marcellino (2007), Gomes (1998, 2004), Isayama (2002, 2010), entre otros. La investigación está orientada al campo y se basa en un enfoque cualitativo, con los profesores que trabajan en ese curso como asignaturas. Como instrumento de recopilación de datos, se analizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas y datos utilizando el método de análisis de contenido, propuesto por Bardin (2011). Los resultados indican que la percepción del ocio en el currículo por parte de los docentes es que existen disciplinas específicas que tratan el tema, por lo tanto, se contempla el ocio, sin embargo, todavía no se aprecia debidamente este conocimiento. Y aunque hay dificultades para estabelecer la relación entre ocio e educación, lo que dificulta su aplicación dentro de la escuela. Se concluye que la discusión formativa del ocio no debe limitarse a disciplinas específicas en esta área, sino que debe impregnar los otros conocimientos que conforman en plan de estudios, permitiendo una formación sólida y un redimiento docente.O objetivo deste estudo é compreender como um curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física tem abordado o lazer na formação de professores. O referencial teórico que fundamenta esta investigação está pautado em autores como Marcellino (2007), Gomes (1998, 2004), Isayama (2002, 2010), dentre outros. A pesquisa é de campo e orientada na abordagem qualitativa, tendo por sujeitos os professores que atuam no referido curso. Como instrumento de coleta de dados tem-se as entrevistas semiestruturadas e os dados analisados a partir do método de análise de conteúdo, proposto por Bardin (2011). Os resultados apontam que a percepção do lazer no currículo pelos docentes é a de que existem disciplinas específicas que tratam do assunto, logo, o lazer está contemplado, no entanto, não há ainda a devida valorização deste conhecimento. E ainda que há dificuldade de estabelecer a relação entre lazer e educação, o que dificulta a sua aplicação no interior da escola.
