Resumo: Access to labor constitutes an essential social right for the inclusion of people with disabilities (PwD). The labor inclusion materializes flanked by various aspects that involve from the admission to the development of these professionals in organizations, in which the role of people management (PM) stands out. This study aims to discuss the composition of the main policies and practices developed by the PM, regarding the inclusion of PwD in organizations in the north of the state of RS. It is associated with the qualitative approach, characterized as an exploratory field study. The results indicate the interviewed managers knowledge about the legal determinations in the law; the importance of social responsibility for inclusion; the recognition of the difficulties of this process in organizations, especially in the supply/hiring of PwD. Practices of application, development, maintenance and monitoring/control of people are similar to the processes carried out with other employees, justified as prerogatives of the integration of PwD in the investigated context.

A inclusão laboral materializa-se acompanhada de vários aspectos que envolvem desde o ingresso ao desenvolvimento desses profissionais nas organizações, na qual se destaca o papel da gestão de pessoas (GP). Este estudo tem como objetivo discutir a composição das principais políticas e práticas desenvolvidas pela GP, no que tange à inclusão de PCD em organizações do norte do estado do RS. Associa-se à abordagem qualitativa, caracterizando-se como um estudo de campo exploratório. Os resultados indicam o conhecimento, das gestoras entrevistadas, sobre as determinações legais vigentes; a importância da responsabilidade social de inclusão; o reconhecimento das dificuldades desse processo nas organizações, principalmente no suprimento/contratação de PCD.
