The beginning of teaching on higher education: a study on Bachelor of Physical Education degree

Resumo: The current article emerges from an empiric study and presents the knowledge and possibilities urged at the beginning of higher education teaching on a physical education course at a public college. The qualitative and exploratory study emerged as a result of experiences and educational practices developed by a Professor responsible for the subjects of Teaching Methodology of Physical Education and Supervised Academic Training Programs. The data review assigned to Teaching the charge for the educational processes according to the specific nature of physical education as an area of the academic scientific degree as well as the recognition of educational knowledge emerged between the Teacher and student relation. Some formation knowledge of teaching are built on the initial period of higher education, specifically on the task of achieving dialogically the learning process associated to teaching practice on bachelor of education degree in terms of contingencies and intrinsic resources of educational activities.

A pesquisa, de cunho qualitativo-exploratório, surgiu em decorrência das experiências e práticas pedagógicas desenvolvidas por uma professora atuante nas disciplinas de Metodologia do Ensino de Educação Física e Estágio Curricular Supervisionado. A análise dos dados atribuiu à docência a responsabilidade pelos processos educativos desencadeados, tendo-se em vista as especificidades da educação física como área de formação acadêmico-científica, bem como o reconhecimento dos saberes educacionais emergidos na relação professor-aluno.
