Distance teaching practice: experience report on the final Course Work Orientation

Resumo: This article presents an account of a professor's experience in teaching a Final Course Work discipline, entirely in distance learning, in a specialization course. Through a case study, the methods and instruments used by the professor throughout the course were analyzed for guidance, communication and interaction with students. The study has a qualitative and quantitative approach through observation techniques and documentary research, using as a main instrument a semi-structured questionnaire directed to the students at the end of the discipline. The used methods in the discipline are presented and analyzed, in the perception of the supervising teacher and in the evaluation of the supervised students. We highlight the adaptability of students regarding digital tools and the interaction of students with the teacher. Despite being exclusively online, it did not cause any losses and, at the same time, increased the students' autonomy in the management of activities and time.

A través de un estudio de caso, los métodos y los instrumentos utilizados por la profesora, a lo largo del curso, fueron analizados para orientación, comunicación e interacción con los estudiantes. El estúdio tiene enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo a través de técnicas de observación e investigación documental, utilizando como instrumento principal um cuestionario semiestructurado dirigido a los estudiantes al final del curso. En los resultados, se presentan y analizan los métodos utilizados en el curso, en la percepción de la profesora guía y en la evaluación de los estudiantes que se guían. Destacamos la adaptabilidad de los alumnos em relación con las herramientas digitales y la interacción de los alumnos con la profesora, quienes, a pesar de estar exclusivamente en línea, no trajeron pérdidas y aumentaron la autonomía de los alumnos en la gestión de actividades y tiempo.Este artigo apresenta um relato de experiência de uma professora ao ministrar uma disciplina de Orientação de Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso, integralmente na modalidade a distância, em um curso de especialização. Por meio de um estudo de caso, foram analisados os métodos e instrumentos utilizados pela professora, ao longo da disciplina, para orientação, comunicação e interação com os alunos. O estudo possui uma abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa por meio de técnicas de observação e pesquisa documental, utilizando como principal instrumento um questionário semiestruturado direcionado aos orientandos no final da disciplina. Nos resultados são apresentados e analisados os métodos utilizados na disciplina, na percepção da professora orientadora e na avaliação dos alunos orientandos.
