Resumo: | This text consists of an interview with Professor Gabrielle Oliveira, from the Lynch School of Education of Boston College (Massachusetts/USA). PhD in Anthropology and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University (New York/USA), the interviewee conducts research on immigration and mobility. Her experience includes gender, transnationalism and bilingualism, focusing on Latin America. The interview was conducted electronicly in June 2020 and deals with the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic on educational processes for the different audiences attended by the university in which the interviewee works this year. The interview reveals that the public health crisis has unevenly affected the students with whom the teacher works. However, immigrants, foreign students in academic mobility and people from families in situations of social vulnerability were the ones who presented the greatest difficulties in adapting to alternative educational models during the pandemic period. |

Doctora en Antropología y Educación por Teachers College, Universidad de Columbia (Nueva York/EE.UU.), la entrevistada lleva a cabo investigaciones sobre inmigración y movilidad. Su experiencia incluye género, transnacionalismo y bilingüismo, centrándose en América Latina. La entrevista se realizó electrónicamente en junio de 2020, y trata de las repercusiones de la pandemia Covid-19 en los procesos educativos para los diferentes públicos a los que asisten la universidad en la que trabaja la entrevistada este año. La entrevista revela que la crisis de salud pública ha afectado de manera desigual a los estudiantes con los que trabaja la profesora. Sin embargo, los inmigrantes, los estudiantes extranjeros en movilidad académica y las personas de familias en situación de vulnerabilidad social fueron los que presentaron las mayores dificultades para adaptarse a modelos educativos alternativos durante el período de pandemia.Este texto consiste em entrevista realizada com a professora Gabrielle Oliveira, da Lynch School of Education do Boston College (Massachusetts/EUA). Doutora em Antropologia e Educação pela Teachers College da Universidade de Columbia (Nova York/EUA), a entrevistada conduz pesquisas sobre imigração e mobilidade. Sua experiência inclui gênero, transnacionalismo e bilinguismo, com enfoque na América Latina. A entrevista foi conduzida por meio eletrônico, em junho de 2020, e trata das repercussões da pandemia de Covid-19 sobre os processos educacionais para os diferentes públicos atendidos pela universidade na qual a entrevistada atua neste ano. A entrevista revela que a crise de saúde pública afetou de maneira desigual os estudantes com os quais a professora trabalha.
