Alternative practices in the training of university teachers

Resumo: In recent years, the pedagogical training of university professors has had a growing interest in recognition of his impact on the quality of students’ learning experiences. This time, the focus is a training device developed in the framework of the Teacher’s Career of the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Buenos Aires, carried out by teachers of the institution that are ending the training program. The particularity of this experience is that those teachers still in training performed to his time a brief practice of training of an institutional actor that presents features idiosyncratic specific: the university teacher who begins this task in the position which he was recently incorporated.

En los últimos años, la formación pedagógica de los docentes universitarios ha tenido un creciente interés a partir del reconocimiento de su impacto en la calidad de los aprendizajes de los estudiantes. En esta oportunidad se hace foco en un dispositivo de formación desarrollado en el marco de la Carrera Docente de la Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad de Buenos Aires llevado a cabo por docentes de esa institución que se encuentran finalizando este programa formativo. La particularidad de esta experiencia es que esos docentes aún en formación realizan a su vez una breve práctica de formación de un actor institucional que presenta características idiosincráticas específicas: el docente universitario que se inicia en esta tarea en el ámbito de la cátedra en que se ha incorporado recientemente. Nos últimos anos, a formação pedagógica de docentes universitários tem despertado um interesse crescente pelo reconhecimento de seu impacto na qualidade da aprendizagem dos alunos. Nesta oportunidade, enfoca-se um dispositivo de treinamento desenvolvido no âmbito da Carreira Docente da Faculdade de Odontologia da Universidade de Buenos Aires, realizado por professores daquela instituição que estão concluindo esse programa de treinamento.
