Resumo: The behavior of teachers can influence the teaching-learning process of students positively or negatively. The objective of this study was to identify positive and negative aspects in teachers' behaviors in the teaching-learning process in an undergraduate nursing course, from the point-of-view of students. It is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach through a technique of critical incidence. The study included 140 students. An analysis of the data showed that the students reported 435 critical incidents, of which 317 were negative and 118 were positive. Therefore, the teacher must analyze his attitudes in order to better understand the learning of students.
