A study on the axiological concept of intonation in the discourse genre ‘Facebook post’

Resumo: This text addresses the concept of intonation, postulated by Bakhtin`s Circle. Our goal is to understand the axiological aspects present in concrete discourse from the concept chosen, characterizing it as an element of relationship between verbal speech and the extraverbal context of the statement, to produce meanings to the discourse present in the virtual sphere of communication. We tried to understand, from the analysis of the genre, the concept of intonation applied to this specific publication on Facebook. The choice of the statement analyzed occurs due to the need to problematize the productions of the sphere of virtual communication nowadays, in line with the studies of Digital Literacy for teaching and learning purposes. In this direction, we found a publication that concerns the political context experienced in recent times, providing us with the necessary elements so that the analysis could be carried out. Thus, we understand that, in this type of concrete statement, social voices are loaded with valuations and identities specific to the social and historical contexts of the subjects of the utterance, which characterizes intonation as an aspect that establishes a link between the word and the extraverbal context. From these results, we understand how this discursive genre can be worked in a situation of language teaching and learning.

Nosso objetivo é compreender os aspectos axiológicos presentes nos discursos concretos a partir do conceito eleito, caracterizando-o como elemento de relação entre o discurso verbal e o contexto extraverbal do enunciado para a produção de sentidos nos discursos presentes na esfera virtual de comunicação. Procuramos compreender, a partir da análise do gênero, o conceito de entonação aplicado a essa publicação específica realizada no Facebook. A escolha do enunciado analisado ocorre pela necessidade de se problematizar as produções da esfera de comunicação virtual nos dias de hoje, em consonância com os estudos do Letramento Digital para fins de ensino e aprendizagem. Nessa direção, encontramos uma publicação que diz respeito ao contexto político vivido nos últimos tempos, a qual nos forneceu elementos necessários para que a análise pudesse ser concretizada. Assim, compreendemos que, nesse tipo de enunciado concreto, imprimem-se vozes sociais carregadas de valorações e identidades próprias dos contextos sociais e históricos dos sujeitos da enunciação, o que caracteriza a entonação como um aspecto que estabelece um vínculo entre a palavra e o contexto extraverbal.
