This  work  aims  to  analyze  the  practice  of  people  management,  didactic  material  production   and  Information  and  Communication  Technologies  (ICTs)  that  occur  in  the  Support  Centre   for  Distance  Education  (CAED)  of  the  Federal  University  of  Minas  Gerais  (UFMG).  People   management  is  intended  to  help  creating   the  best  possible  working  environment.  The   production  of  didactic  material  is  thought  to  contribute  to  the  planning  and  organization,  in   order  to  enhance  student  learning.  ICT,  in  particular,  the  virtual  learning  environment  (VLE)Moodle  are  thought  to  serve  as  a  pedagogical  interface  establishing  relationship  with  the   user,  thus  promoting  its  navigability.  As  a  result,  this  report  brings  to  those  who  do  Distance   Education  (DE),  a  brief  experience  in  the  field  of  personnel  management,  its  conceptual  and   practical  aspects,  starting  from  the  characterization  of  a  real  action  of  courseware  production   within  the  Didactic  Materials  Creation  laboratory  for  Distance  Education  (LCMD-­dE),  through   its  dynamic  planning  and  development  of  educational  resources,  in  line  with  the  technological   and  educational  contributions  in  the  field  of  ICT  for  Moodle  VLE.  Finally,  we  present  some   challenges  and  difficulties  faced  by  the  CAED  /  UFMG  in  their  daily  work  in  the  field  of   distance  education.
