Resumo: | For more than 20 years, researches pointed to a distance from Gymnastics and Scholar Physical Education. This study aimed to analyze, from students’ perspective, how the experiences with gymnastics contents in Physical Education classes in elementary and high school of state schools in a countryside city of São Paulo occur after the implementation of the National Curricular Parameters and of the Curriculum of the State of São Paulo. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 97 students from the last year of high school, from 11 schools of the city. The results corroborate with the current researches that indicate that Gymnastics is only timidly inserted in the school environment. They also indicate that, despite the lack of materials being one of the excuses for not teach Gymnastics, it is up to the teacher, an indispensable figure in the process, provide the contact with this sport so the students have an appreciation for it. |

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar cómo, a partir de los Parámetros Curriculares Nacionales y el Currículo del Estado de São Paulo, las experiencias con contenidos gimnásticos en las clases de EFE en la educación primaria y secundaria en las escuelas estatales de una ciudad del interior de São Paulo, en la perspectiva de los estudiantes. Para ello, se aplicó un cuestionario a 97 alumnos de 3º de bachillerato, de 11 colegios de la ciudad. Los resultados encontrados corroboran las investigaciones actuales que muestran que la Gimnasia, tímidamente, se está insertando en el ámbito escolar. También señalan que, a pesar de que la falta de materiales es una de las razones para no impartir clases de Gimnasia, le corresponde al docente, figura imprescindible en el proceso, brindar contacto con la modalidad para que los alumnos la aprecien.Durante mais de 20 anos, pesquisas apontaram para um distanciamento da Ginástica na Educação Física escolar (EFE). A presente pesquisa objetivou analisar como ocorrem hoje, depois dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais e do Currículo do Estado de São Paulo, as experiências com conteúdos gímnicos nas aulas de EFE no Ensino Fundamental e Médio das escolas estaduais em uma cidade do interior de São Paulo, a partir da perspectiva dos alunos. Para tanto, aplicou-se um questionário para 97 escolares do 3º ano do Ensino Médio, oriundos de 11 escolas da cidade. Os resultados encontrados corroboram as atuais pesquisas que mostram que a Ginástica, timidamente, está sendo inserida no ambiente escolar.
