THE PROCESS OF CREATION OF THE MUZAMBINHO EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION IN THE UNIVERSITY REFORM SCENARIO OF 1968

Resumo: The purpose of this research was to understand how the creation of the Muzambinho Educational Foundation was created in the context of the University Reform of 1968. Using micro history as an analytical reference, meetings minutes, letters and academic papers were consulted in search of answers about the actions undertaken for its creation, the subjects involved and the role of the public power. The idea came from two newly trained Physical Education teachers who were able to mobilize relevant individuals and institutions who were engaged in the creation of the entity. The presence of donor partners of financial resources allowed the dream of Wilian and Lia Mara to gain a body. The donation of a building by the parish, as well as financial donations by the municipal authorities, show that even though Law 5540/68 prioritized private growth in higher education, such a policy would not be possible without the help of municipal power and various politicians.

Utilizando la micro historia como referencia analítica, fueron consultadas actas de reuniones, cartas y trabajos académicos, en busca de respuestas sobre las acciones emprendidas para su creación, los sujetos involucrados y el papel del poder público. La idea partió de dos profesores de Educación Física recién formados que lograron movilizar a sujetos e instituciones relevantes que se comprometieron para la creación de la entidad. La presencia de socios donantes de recursos financieros permitió que el sueño de Wilian y Lia Mara ganara cuerpo. La donación de edificio por parte de la parroquia, así como las donaciones financieras por el poder municipal, evidencian que, aunque la Ley 5540/68 priorizara el crecimiento privado en la enseñanza superior, tal política no sería posible sin la ayuda del poder municipal y de políticos diversos.O objetivo desta investigação foi compreender como se deu a criação da Fundação Educacional Muzambinho no contexto da Reforma Universitária de 1968. Utilizando a micro história como referência analítica, foram consultadas atas de reuniões, cartas e trabalhos acadêmicos, em busca de respostas sobre as ações empreendidas para a sua criação, os sujeitos envolvidos e o papel do poder público. A ideia partiu de dois professores de Educação Física recém-formados que conseguiram mobilizar sujeitos e instituições relevantes que se engajaram para a criação da entidade. A presença de sócios doadores de recursos financeiros permitiu que o sonho de Wilian e Lia Mara ganhasse corpo.
