This work aims to analyze the checks carried out by the fact-checking platforms Lupa, Aos Fatos e Fato or Fake, regarding the disinformation contents disseminated during the months of March to August 2020, about the covid-19, consistent with the period of arrival of the virus to Brazil to the mark of 100 thousand dead by the disease. Altogether, six checks were selected from each of the three platforms for the months of March, April and May in agreement with the same theme, so we could analyze and compare the different sources and approaches made by the agencies. Thus, we conceptualize disinformation and fake news, sources and fact-checking and discuss a little about their historicity. For the methodological process of this work, we used the content analysis method, combined with a data collection protocol based on the concept and classification of sources. In the end, it was possible to see an attempt to a greater transparency in sources than the one found in traditional journalism, as well as the application of a large number of sources in a single check. It was seen that there are a variety of sources, but within a pattern observed in the measured agencies, which mostly permeate between reference and official sources.
