Resumo: This article is the result of the undergraduate final Project presented to the examining board from the Social Communication course with a degree in journalism, and aims to analyze the checks made by the fact-checking platform Agência Lupa, regarding the disinformation contents disseminated from March to August 2020 about covid-19, the period when the virus have arrived in Brazil, and then, the milestone of 100,000 deaths from the disease in the country. Six checks made by Lupa were selected, one for each of the chosen months. For the methodological process of this work, we used content analysis combined with a data collection protocol based on the concept and classification of sources.

Se seleccionaron seis verificaciones realizadas por Lupa, una para cada uno de los meses elegidos. Para el proceso metodológico de este trabajo, se utilizó el análisis de contenido combinado con un protocolo de recolección de datos basado en el concepto y clasificación de fuentes.Este artigo é resultado do Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso apresentado à banca avaliadora do curso de Comunicação Social com habilitação em jornalismo, e visa analisar as checagens feitas pela plataforma de fact-checking Agência Lupa, a respeito dos conteúdos de desinformação disseminados de março a agosto de 2020 sobre a covid-19, período da chegada do vírus ao Brasil, e então, o março de 100 mil mortos pela doença no país. Foram selecionadas seis checagens feitas pela Lupa, sendo uma para cada um dos meses escolhidos.
