THE CONSTRUCTION OF KNOWLEDGE ANT RHE CONCEPT FORMATION IN THE EARLY YEARS: AN ANALYSIS OF PAPERS PRESENTED IN ENPEC

Resumo: This paper analyzes the research were presented in eighteen years of Enpec from 1997 to 2015, focusing on construction of knowledge and on developing concepts in Natural Sciences in the early years of elementary school. Using documentary research, we located 14 studies that discuss the formation of concepts in the early years. We have analyzed the definition of concept formation, adopted theoretical foundation, teaching suggestion for the construction of knowledge and for the formation of concepts and contributions to the teaching of citizens. This work highlights the simplicity that concept formation has been addressed in the articles on the Science Education in the initial years. Thus, a gap was identified, that is, an absence of research regarding the construction of knowledge and the formation of concepts for the initial years in relation to the Natural Sciences.

Utilizando a pesquisa documental, localizamos 14 trabalhos que discutem a formação de conceitos nos anos iniciais. Analisou-se a definição de formação de conceitos, fundamentação teórica adotada, sugestão didática para a construção de conhecimentos e formação de conceitos e contribuições para a formação do cidadão. Este trabalho evidencia a simplicidade que a construção de conhecimentos e formação de conceitos foi abordada nos artigos sobre a Educação em Ciências nos anos inicias.
