AN ANALYSIS OF THE ACADEMIC PRODUCTION OF THE NORTH REGION AT ENPEC

Resumo: | This qualitative research aims, through documentary research, is understand how the North region manifested itself at XI ENPEC, by analyzing its representativeness and trends in the event. For this purpose, the works contained in the annals of ABRAPEC was use as a research tool and, for the treatment of the data, the Content Analysis. The results show that 5.8% of the XI ENPEC works was carry out by researchers from the North region, 60.2% of which were develop by participants from the state of Pará. The most important thematic areas were Education of Science Teachers (32%), Teaching and learning of scientific concepts and processes (15%), Educational processes and materials in Science Education (15%), Education in non-formal areas and scientific dissemination (11%), and Scientific and Technological Literacy, CTS/CTSA approaches and Science Education (10%). Finally, it was possible to notice that, although there is a growing representation of the North region in ENPEC, there is a great influence of the places where the events are held – usually in the South and Southeast – in the scientific dissemination of the region, because the distance makes it difficult the participation of researchers from more distant states. |

Para isso, foram utilizados como fontes de informação os trabalhos contidos nos anais do XI ENPEC e, para tratamento dos dados, a Análise de Conteúdo. Os resultados mostram que 5,8% dos trabalhos do XI ENPEC foram realizados por pesquisadores da Região Norte, sendo 61% desenvolvidos por participantes do estado do Pará. Os eixos temáticos com mais trabalhos foram Formação de Professores de Ciências (32%), Ensino e aprendizagem de conceitos e processos científicos (15%), Processos e materiais educativos em Educação em Ciências (15%), Educação em espaços não-formais e divulgação científica (11%), e Alfabetização Científica e Tecnológica, abordagens CTS/CTSA e Educação em Ciências (10%).
