NON-FORMAL AREAS OF EDUCATION IN PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE OF SCIENCE TEACHERS

Resumo: This article is the result of a research developed during the Master 's Degree in Science Teaching at the State University of Roraima, which the  objective was analysing the pedagogical practice of three elementary science teachers II and two high school biology of state schools de Boa Vista - RR and identify if they use non-formal spaces for science teaching. The methodology used was the qualitative field research. By this way, the data collection was developed through the application of a questionnaire with four subjective questions to clarify how teachers uderstand non-formal spaces and, if in their teaching practice they involve the use of some non-formal space directed to the teaching science. As a result, it was verified that teachers don't use non-formal spaces in their pedagogical practice, pointing out factors such as absense of support from the school and inexperience wuthe the way how the classes are organized in these spaces.

A metodologia consistiu de uma pesquisa de campo do tipo qualitativa. A coleta de dados realizou-se por meio da aplicação de questionário contendo quatro questões subjetivas para compreender como os professores compreendem os espaços não formais e, se em sua prática docente envolvem o uso de algum espaço não formal voltado para o ensino de ciências.
