TRAINING OF MATHEMATICS TEACHERS IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE INCLUSION OF STUDENTS WITH VISUAL DEFICIENCY: ANALYSIS AND AN EXPERIMENT CARRIED OUT IN RONDÔNIA

Resumo: The present study aimed to analyze how a discipline / training course for future Mathematics teachers, focusing on teaching strategies for students with visual impairment, can contribute to the preparation of teachers, with a view to promoting inclusive education. Methodologically, this is an action research developed in the qualitative approach that had as participant 20 (twenty) graduates in Mathematics. The training / investigative process took place at the Federal University of Rondônia Foundation - Campus in the city of Ji-Paraná and consists of a 40-hour training course. Questionnaires, video-recordings and narratives / teaching cases were used to produce / collect data together with participants. The data produced / collected during the actions revealed that the course / course generated multiple and significant contributions, mainly related to the teaching knowledge to promote an inclusive education for students with visual impairment.

Metodologicamente, trata-se de uma pesquisa-ação desenvolvida na abordagem qualitativa que teve como participantes 20 licenciados em Matemática. O processo formativo/investigativo aconteceu na Fundação Universidade Federal de Rondônia - Campus da cidade de Ji-Paraná, e consiste num curso de formação de 40 horas. Foram utilizados questionários, vídeos-gravação e narrativas/casos de ensino para produzir/coletar dados junto aos participantes.
