THE FORMATION OF “SUJEITOS ECOLÓGICOS”: THE STUDY OF THE YOUTH COLLECTIVE OF ENVIRONMENT

Resumo: | The Ministry of Education, in partnership with the Ministry of the Environment, in 2003, takes an important step towards environmental education with the creation of youth councils, and later with youth groups. Group of action and formation of youth in the Brazilian States and with national articulation. The present research aims at. Its objective is to analyze the conception and the role of ecological subject in a movement of young environmentalists, and in what the action in this movement contributes to its formation as ecological subjects. Held with the youth collective of environment of Pará. As for the methodological procedures, the research is qualitative, as a research instrument, questionnaires were used, and for the treatment of the data an interpretative analysis was chosen. It was observed how the performance in the collective has contributed to the formation of “sujeitos ecológicos” that are done in practice and in a constant way, creating an identity for the group and members. |

A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar a concepção e o papel de sujeito ecológico em um movimento de jovens ambientalistas, e no que a atuação nesse movimento contribui para sua formação como sujeitos ecológicos. A pesquisa foi realizada com o Coletivo Jovem de Meio Ambiente do Pará, composto por 25 membros. Quanto aos procedimentos metodológicos a pesquisa é de cunho qualitativa, como instrumento de pesquisa utilizou-se questionários semiestruturados com 10 membros do coletivo, e para tratamento dos dados optou-se por uma análise interpretativa.
