This edition of the REAMEC Journal, titled "Network of Training and Research in Science and Mathematics Education: expanding the Amazonian frontiers," emerges from academic activities conducted through a collaboration between UFMA, UFAM, and UFSC, initiated in 2018 under the National Program of Academic Cooperation in the Amazon. It aims to strengthen research and postgraduate studies in the Amazon Region, focusing on Epistemology, History, Environmental Sustainability, Teacher Education, and Science and Mathematics Teaching. This special issue highlights the research network's contributions to research methodology, theoretical-methodological foundations, and the emergence of new research objects in Science and Mathematics Education. Comprising 14 articles, the publication covers diverse topics such as student dropout, arithmetic teaching, history of Chemistry, dropout in Engineering courses, and the integration of the Science, Technology, and Society approach in Physics teaching. Additionally, it includes discussions on contemporary indigenous art, teachers' perceptions, the history of mathematics in undergraduate courses, scientific dissemination for children, usability in virtual environments, pedagogical methods for inclusive education, pedagogical architecture for science teaching, and mathematics education for girls. This volume demonstrates the value of academic collaboration and the support of funding agencies, particularly CAPES, in advancing educational research in the region..
