Resumo: This edition of the REAMEC Journal, titled "Network of Training and Research in Science and Mathematics Education: expanding the Amazonian frontiers," emerges from academic activities conducted through a collaboration between UFMA, UFAM, and UFSC, initiated in 2018 under the National Program of Academic Cooperation in the Amazon. It aims to strengthen research and postgraduate studies in the Amazon Region, focusing on Epistemology, History, Environmental Sustainability, Teacher Education, and Science and Mathematics Teaching. This special issue highlights the research network's contributions to research methodology, theoretical-methodological foundations, and the emergence of new research objects in Science and Mathematics Education. Comprising 14 articles, the publication covers diverse topics such as student dropout, arithmetic teaching, history of Chemistry, dropout in Engineering courses, and the integration of the Science, Technology, and Society approach in Physics teaching. Additionally, it includes discussions on contemporary indigenous art, teachers' perceptions, the history of mathematics in undergraduate courses, scientific dissemination for children, usability in virtual environments, pedagogical methods for inclusive education, pedagogical architecture for science teaching, and mathematics education for girls. This volume demonstrates the value of academic collaboration and the support of funding agencies, particularly CAPES, in advancing educational research in the region..

Su objetivo es fortalecer la investigación y los estudios de posgrado en la Región Amazónica, enfocándose en la Epistemología, Historia, Sostenibilidad Ambiental, Formación Docente y Enseñanza de Ciencias y Matemáticas. Esta edición especial destaca las contribuciones de la red de investigación a la metodología de investigación, los fundamentos teórico-metodológicos y la emergencia de nuevos objetos de investigación en Educación en Ciencias y Matemáticas. Consta de 14 artículos, que abarcan temas diversos como la deserción estudiantil, enseñanza de la aritmética, historia de la Química, deserción en cursos de Ingeniería e integración del enfoque Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad en la enseñanza de Física. Además, incluye discusiones sobre arte indígena contemporáneo, percepciones de profesores, historia de las matemáticas en cursos de licenciatura, divulgación científica para niños, usabilidad en entornos virtuales, métodos pedagógicos para la educación inclusiva, arquitectura pedagógica para la enseñanza de ciencias y educación matemática para niñas. Este volumen demuestra el valor de la colaboración académica y el apoyo de agencias de financiación, particularmente CAPES, en el avance de la investigación educativa en la región.A presente edição da Revista REAMEC, intitulada "Rede de Formação e Pesquisa em Ensino de Ciências e Matemática: ampliando as fronteiras amazônica", é resultado da colaboração entre UFMA, UFAM e UFSC, iniciada em 2018 no âmbito do Programa Nacional de Cooperação Acadêmica na Amazônia. O foco é fortalecer a pesquisa e a pós-graduação na Região Amazônica, abordando temas como Epistemologia, História, Sustentabilidade Ambiental, Formação de Professores e Ensino de Ciências e Matemática. Esta edição especial destaca a importância da rede de pesquisa na metodologia, teoria e emergência de novos objetos de estudo no campo do Ensino de Ciências e Matemática. Contendo 14 artigos, a publicação abrange temas variados, como evasão estudantil, ensino de aritmética, história da Química, evasão nos cursos de Engenharia e a integração da abordagem Ciência, Tecnologia e Sociedade no ensino de Física.
