We seek in this work to develop a methodological way we propitiate a greater understanding about ethnoscience. Possession of such a concept can provide the reader with a methodological path that begins in 1900 with the pedagogical trend formalistic classical thereafter discuss the empirical-activist, the formalist modern technicalities, constructivist and etnoculturalista, so as to identify the best methodological approach to be followed in a research Ethnomatematics. Then proceeded to build the research model presenting the research methods most commonly used in ethnic studies as observational, the phenomenological, the ethnographic and social-constructivist or action research highlighting their advantages. Following, we present the main research techniques for studying ethno like observation, Systematics, the Participant and the Participant does not. We propose a path to the end methodology that we believe to be the most suitable for such studies.
