Resumo: | This dissertation is the result of a research that focused on the experience of becoming ill by the nurse professor of the Nursing Faculty (FAEN) at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT). The objective is to reflect and understand the experience of becoming ill by the nurse professor, reflecting how the disease deconstructs and reconstructs the reality and the identity of the subject, in addition to try to understand how after the onset of an illness, the nurse professor experiences and constitutes this new news about himself. This study had some important guiding questions, while trying to understand the deeper aspects of the experiencing, still questioned how the rupture of an absence from work and removal from the job, caused by illnesses, was related to changes in personal and professional identity. After approval by the Committee of Ethics in Research from HUJM (Protocol. 151/CEP-HUJM/2011), semi-structured interviews were conducted with three professors of FAEN - UFMT, in which, narratives about key aspects were obtained for the effort of reflection on illnesses and resulted in the vision of illnesses as a chaos from a discussion of the philosophical, sociological and historical view up to the analysis and discussion of the narratives. The resulting categories were divided thematically: the construction and deconstruction of the world of the subject, which addresses the socialization and the construction of the professional identity, the social and the job; the changing roles; the disease that afflicts; the disease as representation of pain, and continuous monitoring of the subject's history. The study had theoretical and thematic basis mainly on the authors Friedrich Nietzsche and Claude Dubar, which underlined the composition of the philosophical, sociological and historical discussion of the subject facing the event of illness. This research resulted in the identification of different perspectives of illness, as well as different forms of experiencing this event, helping with the understanding of the organic and social pain by the becoming ill, as intrinsic factors to the experience of illness. In this process, there is a constant construction and reconstruction of oneself towards the reconstruction of the identity and self-sameness of the nurse professor sickened. |

O objetivo é refletir e compreender a vivência do adoecimento pelo enfermeiro professor, refletindo como a doença desconstrói e reconstrói a realidade e identidade do sujeito; além de compreender como após o acometimento de uma doença, o enfermeiro professor vivência e constitui essa nova notícia sobre si. Esta pesquisa teve algumas questões norteadoras importantes, na tentativa de compreender aspectos mais profundos de vivência, ainda indaga como a ruptura de um afastamento do trabalho e destituição de funções, causada pelo adoecimento, relacionou-se com transformações na identidade pessoal e profissional. Após aprovação pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa do HUJM (Protocolo nº. 151/CEP-HUJM/2011), foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com três professoras da FAEN - UFMT, nas quais foram obtidas narrativas sobre aspectos fundamentais para o esforço de reflexão sobre o adoecimento, e resultaram na visão da doença como caos a partir de uma discussão da visão filosófica, sociológica e histórica da doença à análise e discussão das narrativas. As categorias resultantes foram divididas tematicamente: a construção e desconstrução do mundo do sujeito, a qual aborda a socialização e construção de identidade profissional; o social e o trabalho; a mudança dos papéis; a doença que aflige; a doença como representação da dor; e o seguimento contínuo da história do sujeito. O estudo teve embasamento teórico e temático, principalmente, nos autores Friedrich Nietzsche e Claude Dubar, que fizeram a composição da discussão filosófica, sociológica e histórica do sujeito frente ao evento do adoecimento. Esta pesquisa resultou na identificação de diferentes perspectivas de adoecimento, bem como, diferentes formas de experimentação deste evento, subsidiando a compreensão da dor orgânica e social pelo adoecimento como fatores intrínsecos à experiência da doença.
