Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Biológicas, Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto.As Atividades de Formação, componente curricular importante para a formação de professores, devem permear a formação docente desde o início do curso, estando presente em toda a grade curricular, possibilitando ao licenciando colocar em prática atividades ou situações de ensino que visem transformar o conhecimento científico em conhecimento escolar. Esta pesquisa traz como tema ―Um Olhar Sobre as Atividades de Formação em um Curso de Licenciatura em Química‖ e busca identificar quais são as propostas de desenvolvimento para essas atividades e os resultados auferidos na visão dos acadêmicos, docentes e de outros profissionais ocupados com a formação de professores na instituição investigada. Os objetivos específicos foram identificar propostas de desenvolvimento dessas atividades, avaliar sua eficiência, identificar seus resultados no perfil dos licenciandos, deixar contribuições para eventual reestruturação da matriz curricular do curso investigado e encontrar elementos que possam subsidiar a elaboração de um Projeto de Laboratório de Educação Química, como produto final dessa dissertação. A hipótese estabelecida no PPC (Projeto Político Pedagógico) do curso investigado e previamente adotada nesta pesquisa, foi de que as Atividades de Formação favorecem a formação de um professor mais consciente do processo de aprender a ensinar e da indissociação da teoria com a prática dentro da perspectiva da dialética preconizada por Gamboa (2007). Seu referencial teórico traz autores que tratam da formação de professores, do ensino de Ciências e da relação teoria/prática. Entre eles destacamos Mizukami (2007); Marcelo (1997); Bellochio (2002); Freire (2013); Libâneo (2002 e 2010); Tardifi (2002); Bejarano e Hohenfeld (2013); Gamboa (2007); Teixeira e Oliveira (2005) e Vieira e Silva (2012). Teve como metodologia a pesquisa qualitativa com a utilização de questionário, entrevistas e roteiros de aula como instrumento de coleta de dados que foram analisados com base nos princípios da Análise de Conteúdo de Brdin (1977). Como resultado constatamos que os investigados em geral desconhecem o PPC do curso, têm utilizado seminários, atividades do Pibid, oficinas, criação de planos e roteiros de aula e a regência como forma de desenvolvimento das Atividades de Formação, ainda que de modo não intencional. E como impacto na formação dos licenciandos apontou-se melhor formação, experiência para ministrar aula, possibilidades de apontar aos acadêmicos suas deficiências, bem como relacionar a teoria com a prática, visualizando a realidade da sala de aula e vincular essa realidade ao conteúdo. Diante disso, é pertinente recomendar a implantação de Laboratório de Educação Química, a edição de cartilhas, a realização de seminários e desenvolvimento de atividades formativas que possibilitem o contato com práticas de ensino inovadoras, como o modelo de ensino investigativo.The Activities for Teachers Training, an important curricular subject for teachers‘ graduation courses, should start since the beginning of the course and continue during the whole course in order to make it possible for the undergraduates put into practice activities and situations related to teaching that aim at changing the scientific knowledge into school knowledge. The theme of this research is ―A view about the activities of Teachers Training in a Chemistry Major‖ and tries to identify what the developing proposals for such activities are and the results obtained in the view of undergraduates, professors and other professional involved with Teachers Training in the investigated institution. The specific objectives were to identify the proposal for developing these activities, analyze its efficiency, identify its results considering the undergraduates profile, contribute to the reconstruction of the curriculum in the course investigated and finally as a final product of this paper find elements that could provide support to create a Project for a Pedagogical Laboratory to teaching Chemistry. The hypothesis previously established about the PPC of the course investigated was that the Practical Activities for Teachers Training and Practice benefit the Teachers Training by making the teachers more aware of the teaching and learning process and in the inseparable relation between theory and practice throughout a dialectic perspective as indicated by Gamba (2007). The theoretical background shows authors that talk about Teachers Training, science teaching and the relation theory/ practice. Among them, we highlight Mizukami (2007); Marcelo (1997); Bellochio (2002); Freire (2013); Libâneo (2002 e 2010); Tardiffi (2002); Bejarano e Hohenfeld (2013); Gamboa (2007); Teixeira e Oliveira (2005) e Vieira e Silva (2012). The methodology used was qualitative research and questionnaires, interviews and lesson plans were used as data collection. The data was analyzed based on the principles of Content Analysis by Bardin (1977). The results showed that the people who participated in the research in general, did not know the PPC of the course; they have participated in seminars, activities of Pibid, workshops, and in the elaboration of lesson plans as a way to develop the practical activities of Teachers Training and Teaching, even that not being intentionally. As an impact in the undergraduates‘ training, it showed a better training, experience to teaching, possibilities to show the undergraduates their weakness, possibility to relate theory and practice aiming at the reality of the classroom and relate such reality to the content.
