O estágio de estudantes de pedagogia: a experiência para além da sala de aula

The present study aimed to analyze the contributions of internship conducted at an area of practice is different to that of the classroom to UFPB/Campus I for the training of students of Pedagogy of the University. For this reason, we carried out a qualitative study, descriptive and exploratory. This was first, with a literature review and documentary about internship and formation of a pedagogue and the pedagogy course, focusing on areas not directly related to education. Later, there was an exploratory study from documentary sources of Coordination of Internship and Monitoring (CEM): data; plans of activities of internship and reports of internship holders. Finally, we performed a semi-structured interview with the manager of the CEM, with supervisors/mentors of internship and with the holders. The processing of such data was conducted by means of content analysis. From the statements of the subject referenced, it is considered that, despite the shortcomings, this experience contributes to both the institution, provided the grantor of internship, as to the permanence and to the formation of the student of pedagogy, especially in the areas of management and research, linked also to the teaching. In the end, proposals were made for actions, aiming at the improvement in the management and training of the internship within the University.
