Academic Center in the Northeastern Agreste/UFPE: weaving autobiographical threads on this interiorization ground

Resumo: | Our objective, in this essay, was to do an autobiographical recall of aneducational trajectory inspired by the studies and theoretical reflexionsexperienced at the Graduate Program in Contemporary Education (PP-GEduC), of the Academic Center in the Northeastern Agreste (CAA) ofthe Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). We seek to demonstratethat this formative path is intertwined with UFPE, enabling us to beautonomous and critical subjects. We point out that the first campus ofUFPE’s interiorization process, the Academic Center in the NortheasternAgreste, was the stage for social, economic and cultural transformationsin the Agreste and its surrounding cities and population. UFPE was thetraining space for the master degree and also for the PhD, as well as theplace of professional performance as pedagogue of one of the authors.In the institution’s history, we find the threads that blend into our trajectory and we go on weaving the threads that constitute our identity andour professionality. In this reflective path, we seek theoretical support inCunha (2017), Gonçalves (2017), Nóvoa (2007), Roldão (2005), Scartezini(2017), Tardif (2002) and other authors. This work, which uses a qualitativeapproach, shows that, in the formative path, the personal and professionaldimensions are intertwined in a process of mutual influence in the appropriation of knowledge and practices inherent to professional practice.It also shows that professionalization strengthens collective projects,through systematic thinking of professional action. Thus, talking aboutthis personal and professional imbrication with UFPE/CAA is recognizingthe importance of this university in geopolitical and personal terms, givingnew meanings to life. |

Thus, talking aboutthis personal and professional imbrication with UFPE/CAA is recognizingthe importance of this university in geopolitical and personal terms, givingnew meanings to life.Nosso objetivo, neste ensaio, foi realizar um resgate autobiográfico da trajetória educativa cujos estudos e reflexões teóricas, vivenciados no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação Contemporânea (PPGEduC), do Centro Acadêmico do Agreste (CAA) da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), foram inspiradores. Buscamos demonstrar que esse percurso formativo é imbricado com a UFPE e possibilita a condição de sermos sujeitos autônomos e críticos. Precisamos pontuar que o primeiro campus de interiorização da UFPE, o Centro Acadêmico do Agreste, é palco de transformações sociais, econômicas e culturais de Caruaru, de cidades circunvizinhas e da sua população. A UFPE foi o campo de formação no mestrado e, agora, também no doutorado, bem como o lugar de atuação profissional como pedagoga de uma das autoras. Na história da instituição, encontramos os fios que se mesclam à nossa e vamos tecendo os fios que constituem nossa identidade e profissionalidade. Nesse percurso reflexivo, buscamos aporte teórico em Cunha (2017), Gonçalves (2017), Nóvoa (2007), Roldão (2005), Scartezini (2017), Tardif (2002) entre outros. Este trabalho, de abordagem qualitativa, evidencia que, no percurso formativo, as dimensões pessoal e profissional estão imbricadas num processo de influência mútua na apropriação de saberes e fazeres próprios do exercício profissional. Além disso, também demonstra que a profissionalização fortalece os projetos coletivos mediante a reflexão sistemática da ação profissional.
