PARTICIPATORY REMOTE TEACHING IN GRADUATION: GAMES AS A THEME TO DISCUSS SCIENCE TEACHING

Resumo: Since the outbreak of social isolation motivated by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, remote teaching has become a requirement for the continuity of educational activities of various levels of education in Brazil. The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) supported the interaction and teaching-learning process.  In this context, the present study seeks to discuss how to create a remote subject of games for science teaching that allows developing discussions about science and social issues in a participatory manner in graduate school. To this end, this study introduces different factors to improve the use of digital environments in graduate courses as the criteria used for the previous organization of the subject.  As a result, we describe the methods and tools used to teach in this course, delivered between August and October of 2020, and display some students' feedbacks. The study allows us to point out strategies for remote teaching, using games as a technological and cultural phenomenon that enables the discussion of different social issues through science teaching.

The study allows us to point out strategies for remote teaching, using games as a technological and cultural phenomenon that enables the discussion of different social issues through science teaching. Desde el inicio del aislamiento social motivado por la pandemia de COVID-19 en 2020, la enseñanza a distancia se ha vuelto necesaria para la continuidad de las actividades educativas en los diversos niveles de la educación en Brasil, con las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) como soporte para la interacción y la enseño-aprendizaje. En este contexto, el presente estudio busca discutir cómo la creación de una disciplina a distancia de juegos para la enseñanza de las ciencias permite el desarrollo de discusiones sobre ciencia y cuestiones sociales de forma participativa en los estudios de posgrado. Para ello, se presentan diferentes factores necesarios para el mejor aprovechamiento de las disciplinas en entornos digitales, además de criterios utilizados para la organización previa de las herramientas. Como resultado, se presentan los materiales y herramientas formulados, además del feedback de los participantes de la disciplina impartidos entre agosto y octubre de 2020. De esta forma, el estudio permite señalar estrategias no solo para la enseñanza a distancia, sino también la importancia de los juegos como fenómeno tecnológico y cultural, y que permiten debatir diferentes problemáticas sociales.Desde o início do isolamento social motivado pela pandemia de COVID-19 em 2020, o ensino remoto tornou-se necessário para a continuidade das atividades educativas de vários níveis de ensino no Brasil, tendo as Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TIC) como apoio para a interação e ensino-aprendizagem. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo busca discutir como a criação de uma disciplina remota de jogos para o ensino de ciências permite desenvolver discussões sobre ciência e questões sociais de maneira participativa na pós-graduação. Para isso, são apresentados diferentes fatores necessários ao melhor aproveitamento das disciplinas em ambientes digitais, além de critérios utilizados para a organização prévia das ferramentas. Como resultado, são apresentados os materiais e ferramentas formulados, além de feedbacks dos cursistas da disciplina ministrada entre agosto e outubro de 2020.
