THE GOVERNING EDUCATOR AND THE SOCIAL FORMATION OF THE INDIVIDUAL IN EMÍLIO OR ON EDUCATION

Resumo: | This article analyzes the place of the educator in the context of Rousseaunian pedagogy and has as object of investigation the work Emile: or On Education (1762). The proposed objectives are the characterization of natural pedagogy and the characterization of the role of the governing educator in the process of moral and political formation of the individual. The hermeneutics applied to bibliographic studies was adopted as a research method, which in addition to the aforementioned work, was also based on books by commentators of the philosopher Rousseau. As results of the discussion, it was observed that the Genevan thinker proposed an innovative pedagogy for his time, to the extent that it revolutionizes the relationship between educator and student and between education and society, these bonds are evidenced in our analyses. Inaugurator of the so-called natural pedagogy, the philosopher finds a rapprochement between education and the natural condition of freedom of the student and the moral and political formation for life in democratic society, mediated by the governing educator. |

Los objetivos propuestos son la caracterización de la pedagogía natural y la caracterización del papel del educador gobernante en el proceso de formación moral y política del individuo. Se adoptó como método de investigación la hermenéutica aplicada a los estudios bibliográficos, que, además del trabajo mencionado, también fue apoyado por libros de comentaristas del filósofo Rousseau. Como resultado de la discusión, se observó que el pensador ginebrino propuso una pedagogía innovadora para su época, en la medida en que revoluciona la relación entre educador y alumno y entre educación y sociedad, que se evidencian en nuestros análisis. Inaugurador de la llamada pedagogía natural, el filósofo aboga por un acercamiento entre la educación y la condición natural de libertad del estudiante y la formación moral y política para la vida en sociedad democrática, mediada por el educador gobernante.Neste artigo analisa-se o lugar do educador no contexto da pedagogia rousseauniana e tem-se como objeto de investigação a obra Emílio ou Da Educação (1762). Os objetivos propostos são a caracterização da pedagogia natural e a caracterização do papel do educador governante no processo de formação moral e política do indivíduo. Adotou-se, como método de pesquisa, a hermenêutica aplicada aos estudos bibliográficos, que além da obra supracitada, amparou-se também em livros de comentadores do filósofo Rousseau. Como resultados da discussão, observou-se que o pensador genebrino propôs uma pedagogia inovadora para seu tempo, na medida em que revoluciona a relação entre educador e educando e entre educação e sociedade, vínculos estes que são evidenciados em nossas análises.
