Concepts of literacy(ies) in the National Common Curricular Base of elementary education

Resumo: This article presents an excerpt from research that analyzes the Common National Curriculum Base (CNBC), primary school, with the objective of identifying the occurrence of the term literacy and it is correlates, understanding which concepts are underlying and contributing to a critical use of document by education professionals. The research is inserted in the field of Applied Linguistics, with a qualitative-interpretative and documentary research approach that identified explicit occurrences of the term “literacy(ies)”, interpreted with base on bibliographic study on the area, with linguistic-discursive support. The results reveal the explicit recurrence of the terms "literacy", "literacies", "multiliteracies" and "new literacies" with different meanings. The most common term is “literacies” to refer to a wide variety of language practices. In addition, literacy(ies) concepts are used from different perspectives, such as pedagogical/educational, cognitive/psychological and sociocultural /intercultural.

A pesquisa se insere no campo da Linguística Aplicada, com uma abordagem de pesquisa qualitativo-interpretativista e do tipo documental que identificou ocorrências explícitas do termo “letramento(s)”, interpretados à luz do estudo bibliográfico sobre a área, com aporte linguístico-discursivo. Os resultados revelam a recorrência explícita dos termos “letramento”, “letramentos”, “multiletramentos” e “novos letramentos” com diferentes acepções. O termo mais recorrente é “letramentos” para referir-se a uma grande variedade de práticas de linguagem.
