Resumo: The aim of this study is to promote a theoretical reflection on moral harassment in nursing working settings,as well as to promote the value of professionals’ subjectivity dimension. Moral harassment consists of a relevantphenomenon, even though it is still not largely debated in the historical health context, especially in nursing. Therefore, itmust be addressed, since it may disrupt someone’s life, not only professionally but also his/her self-esteem. The mainways of moral harassment identified in nursing are: public as well as private humiliations with threats; depreciation ofprofessional image; gossips and mean rumors; absurd demands by bosses and task requests which can not be carried out,among others. Thus, it is nursing task to alert to strategies which could be adopted in order to avoid psychic suffering.

El acoso moral consiste en unfenómeno relevante, pero poco discutido en el contexto histórico de la salud, especialmente, de enfermería. Así siendo,merece destaque, ya que puede desarreglar la vida de una persona, no apenas a lo que se refiere al trabajo, pero tambiéna su autoestima. Las principales formas de asedio moral identificadas en la enfermería son: humillaciones en público y apuertas cerradas con amenazas, depreciación de la imagen profesional, rumores y rumores maldosos, cobranzas absurdasde los jefes y delegación de tareas que no pueden ser realizadas, entre otras. De esta manera, cabe a los envolucrados laatención a las estrategias que pueden ser adoptadas para evitar el sufrimiento psíquico.Esse estudo tem por objetivo promover uma reflexão teórica sobre o assédio moral no trabalho da Enfermagem,bem como impulsionar a valorização da dimensão da subjetividade do trabalhador. O assédio moral consiste em umfenômeno relevante, porém, ainda pouco discutido no contexto histórico da saúde, especialmente na Enfermagem. Sendoassim, é um tema que merece destaque, já que pode desestruturar a vida de uma pessoa, não apenas no que se refere aotrabalho, mas também à sua auto-estima. As principais formas de assédio moral identificadas na Enfermagem são: humilhaçõesem público e a portas fechadas, com ameaças; depreciação da imagem profissional; boatos e rumores maldosos; cobrançasabsurdas por parte das chefias; delegação de tarefas que não podem ser realizadas, entre outras.
