ARTISTIC STRATEGIES AGAINST NECROPOLITICS: THE VIDEODANCE FÔLEGO AND THE TRACES OF SLAVERY CAMPINEIRA (SP)

Resumo: | This article analyzes the screendance Fôlego (2018), an aesthetic-pedagogical result of a doctoral research on necropolitics in Campinas (SP). This work was composed in representative spatialities of the rise of coffee and sugarcane cultures in the interior of São Paulo, having the enslaved black labor as an economic axis. The aspects of origin and unfolding of the policy of death on black and peripheral bodies (MBEMBE, 2016) in the aforementioned metropolis are highlighted, seeking to broaden different perceptions about the ways of using the spaces of this city, thus discussing the contradictions that the capitalist system causes. This research seeks to contribute to a greater discussion about movement, bodies and spaces and political and social representation in dance. |

Ce travail a été composé dans des spatialités représentatives de la montée des cultures de café et de canne à sucre à l'intérieur de São Paulo, ayant le travail noir asservi comme axe économique. Les aspects d'origine et de déploiement de la politique de la mort sur les corps noirs et périphériques (MBEMBE, 2016) dans la métropole susmentionnée sont mis en évidence, cherchant à élargir différentes perceptions sur les manières d'utiliser les espaces de cette ville, discutant ainsi des contradictions que les cause du système capitaliste. Cette recherche vise à contribuer à une plus grande discussion sur le mouvement, les corps et les espaces et la représentation politique et sociale en danse.Estratégias Artísticas na Videodança Fôlego: escravidão e necropolítica em Campinas (SP-Brasil) – Este artigo investiga a videodança Fôlego (2018), cuja temática aborda a violência praticada contra os corpos negros na contemporaneidade. Para tal apreciação, este trabalho fez um breve panorama acerca da historicidade da escravidão no Brasil, em especial sobre a cidade de Campinas (SP), local de criação da obra, tendo como eixo norteador o conceito de necropolítica (Mbembe, 2016).
