Resumo: One of the greatest challenges for the Brazilian body of knowledge, in all areas of knowledge, is the dismantling of racism in its various facets, with epistemic, institutional and linguistic racism being of greater interest in this essay. Anchored in the ideas of black and indigenous intellectuals who have thought about the relationship between language and ethnic-racial, decolonial and counter-colonial issues, aligned with the political struggles of Black and Indigenous Social Movements, I present in this essay a discussion on the Cosmopolitics of Translation. Several aspects are pointed out that need to be taken into account in Translation Studies so that black and indigenous literatures can have their epistemic potential recognized, in the Academy, in Basic Education and in spaces of Dissemination of Language Sciences.

Ancorado nas ideias de intelectuais negros e indígenas que têm pensado a relação entre a linguagem e as questões étnico-raciais, decoloniais e contracoloniais, alinhando-se às lutas políticas dos movimentos sociais negros e indígenas, apresento uma discussão sobre as cosmopolíticas da tradução.
