Resumo: In this article, we analyze the behavior of student activists who in 1968 took to the streets to protest against the military dictatorship and that of the youth that protested in June 2013, taking into account, in particular, the ability to articulate life, politics and art. To what extent were these two generations able to promote this articulation and to what extent have they rejected this possibility? In 1968, Caetano Veloso sought to take politics to the stage, but was harshly reprimanded for not following the previous prescriptions of the Popular Centers of Culture, Une; who advocated a popular and didactically revolutionary art. Caetano after all wanted to express politics in his own body. Taking this premise into account, the text argues that June 2013 breaks with the “seriousness” of the students of 1968 and establishes new parameters of activism, based on an openness to the aesthetics of existence.
