Resumo: This article analyzes the history of assimilated, political and Angolan writer Raul David Matthew. It aims to understand how he lived, thought and wrote colonial assimilation policies of Portugal in Angola and the Angolan society before and after independence. For this we will make use of their memories and present speeches in interviews and literary works.
